Fern Event Rentals ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about it.
When you submit a booking request, place an order, or contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, mailing and event address, event date and times, and any notes or special requests.
We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our website. Card payments are processed by Stripe through Booqable. Stripe receives your card details under its own privacy practices; we receive a record of the transaction (date, amount, last 4 digits of the card) but not the full card number.
Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and embedded third-party services may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and operational purposes.
We use your browser's local storage to remember items you add to your cart between visits. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
We share information only with the third parties we rely on to operate the business:
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes outside of the providers listed above.
If we send you promotional emails or text messages, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or using the unsubscribe link in an email. You will continue to receive transactional messages related to bookings you have placed.
We keep booking and order records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations (typically 7 years from the date of the event). After that, records are deleted or anonymized.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including limiting access to authorized personnel and relying on reputable third-party providers (Stripe, Booqable, Web3Forms, Google) for the systems that store or process customer data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email when feasible.
